Affinity 2012

A beautiful ink black, dark plum colour. An exceptionally complex wine with cherries, plums and cassis and mixed spice on the nose. Rich palate, succulent and broad. A full rich entry with firm but elegantly integrated tannins with lingering spiciness.

Winemakers Notes

The components of this Bordeaux blend are picked at optimal ripeness and harvested separately.

The Harvest

The components were separately vinified and matured. Barrel selection for the blend occurred after 20 months of maturation of the individual components in French oak. 51% New.
